Keeper Security
The use of a Zero-Trust password management platform is essential to counter the most common attack vectors for data theft. The software generates complex, randomly created passwords and enforces security policies across the entire organization. Implementing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and role-based policy enforcement helps businesses of all sizes prevent ransomware attacks and other password-related data breaches.
Keeper can be deployed in organizations of any size, from small businesses to large enterprises with hundreds of thousands of employees and external contractors. It integrates seamlessly with on-premises and cloud-based identity solutions, including AD, LDAP, Azure, and SCIM, as well as SAML-compliant IdPs, such as Azure, Okta, Centrify, BeyondTrust, JumpCloud, OneLogin, and Ping Identity.
Data Security & Encryption
Keeper places the utmost importance on protecting customer data. All customer data is encrypted and stored on Keeper’s cloud servers in a way that prevents Keeper or any third party from accessing it. Only end users can access credentials, IT secrets, and other sensitive information. Encryption and decryption occur directly on user devices, with data being encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256) in Keeper’s infrastructure. The plaintext version of the data is never visible to Keeper Security employees or external parties.
Every user has a unique set of private and public encryption keys used for vault encryption, record sharing, and secure messaging with other Keeper users. Keeper’s record-sharing method is simple, secure, and intuitive, supporting granular access control for sharing information with privileged and non-privileged users, technology partners, external contractors, and other third parties.
